On January 24th and 25th, 20 students and 2 teachers from Kamaile Academy, Maile Elementary and Wai'anae Intermediate participated in the STEM Pre Academy Beginners Workshop at Searider Productions Wai'anae High. The students learned about the basics of visual storytelling, creating websites, video editing and photography.
"They are all first time users, so I helped them vastly improve their skills which in turn will vastly help the other students in my classes. Seriously cut my learning curve..now I really know my weaknesses and where we need loads of practicing and critique." Ms. Crawford, Tech Teacher @ Kamaile Academy "In my opinion the most useful topic that we learned was composition because it was a basic photo/video skill. But it was also the most crucial in all of our work. Composition is what really made or broke our work."
